Atys Mead Co. / Identity and Label Design

Atys is a mythological figure who was born from an almond tree, and whose death and resurrection are said to represent the cycle of winter and spring. Since mead—one of man’s oldest spirits—has seen a resurgence in popularity over recent years, I thought a reborn figure from ancient lore would be an excellent basis for a meadery identity concept.
